Cookie Information

What are cookies?

Cookies are small data files that get stored on your computer, mobile phone, or tablet that collect information as you browse our website. Cookies allow us to provide you with a greater browsing and shopping experience, and without them, you will be unable to use our shop properly or place orders.

What information do cookies collect?

Our cookies will collect and remember information about your time browsing our website. This allows us to help you find products you may be interested in, and that may make your browsing experience easier and more helpful. Our cookies do not collect, store, or record information that could identify you personally such as credit card details, name, address, or similar.

Cookie types used by Party Pieces and their uses

Cookies have been classified into different categories by the ICC UK, based on their functions and what they’re used for. We use the following types of cookies for varying functions on our website and through third-party providers:

Strictly necessary cookies: These cookies are required for the basic operation of cookandparty.com. These cookies allow you to log into secure areas of our website, use a shopping cart and place orders.

Analytical/performance cookies: These cookies collect information on how you use cookandparty.com, including number of page visits and if you receive error messages from web pages. These cookies don’t collect information that identifies you, instead the information these cookies collect is aggregated and completely anonymous. It is only used to improve how cookandparty.com works.

Functionality cookies: These are used to recognise you when you return to cookandparty.com and remember your activity, such as keeping you logged in to your account or your previously browsed products. This enables us to personalise our content for you and remember your preferences. The information these cookies collect may be anonymised and they cannot track your browsing activity on other websites.

Advertising cookies: These cookies are used to deliver adverts more relevant to you and your interests. They are also used to limit the number of times you see an advertisement as well as help measure the effectiveness of the advertising campaigns. They are usually placed by advertising networks with the website operator’s permission. These cookies remember that you have visited a website and this information is shared with other organisations such as advertisers. Quite often targeting or advertising cookies will be linked to site functionality provided by the other organisation.

Facebook ,Klaviyo, Google (click here to view how Google uses information from sites or apps that use their services)

What happens if I disable cookies?

If you disable some or all of our cookies, our website may not function properly. If you disable 3rd party cookies, you will still be able to make purchases on cookandparty.com, however if you disable all cookies, you will not be able to complete a transaction.

Some browsers offer a Do Not Track (DNT) feature. When DNT is enabled, it will send a request to a website so that your browsing behaviour is not tracked. There is currently no consensus on how companies should interpret DNT, and as a result cookandparty.com does not currently respond to these requests.

How do I disable cookies?

If you choose to disable all of our cookies, cookandparty.com may not function properly and you will be limited to browsing our website only. You will not be able to add products to your basket and buy them. Disabling cookies is different for each browser. Visit your browser’s support website to find the best way to do this.

By using our online services, you agree that we can place these types of cookies on your device.
